Hair & Scalp
Understanding the cause of hair loss, then treating it over time.
Treatment approach 06 of 08
What this approach is about
Hair & Scalp is about growth: finding out why hair is thinning or falling, and supporting the scalp and follicles over the months it takes to respond.
What this approach addresses
- Hair thinning and increased hair fall
- Patterned hair loss
- Patchy loss, including alopecia areata
- Scalp conditions such as dandruff
- Hair quality and breakage
Hair responds slowly, so treatment is a programme rather than an appointment. We combine medical management with regenerative therapy and track progress, so the plan evolves with your response.
What we assess
- The pattern and cause of hair loss
- Scalp health
- Medical history and investigations
- Nutritional and hormonal factors
- Realistic timelines
Possible treatment options
Treatment is directed at the cause, and may include medical treatment, regenerative therapy such as growth factor concentrate, and scalp care. Investigations are requested where they will change the plan.
What a plan may include
- Medical TreatmentPrescription treatment and, where needed, investigations, directed by the dermatologist.
- PRP & GFCRegenerative therapies prepared from the patient's own blood, used for hair and skin.
Technology that may be used within the plan
Selected by your doctor after assessment, and only where it is clinically appropriate.

What should you realistically expect?
Hair responds slowly. The first change is usually reduced hair fall; improvement in density is assessed at three to six months, with photography.
- 05
Downtime and recovery
Regenerative scalp treatment usually allows normal activity the same day, with mild tenderness for a day or so.
- 06
When are combinations useful?
Combinations are useful because medical treatment addresses the cause while in-clinic therapy supports the follicles. Both are reviewed together as the hair responds.
- 07
Results and maintenance
Many causes of hair loss are ongoing, so treatment continues in order to maintain the response, with periodic review.
