Fotona SP Dynamis Max

One laser platform, several wavelengths, selected according to the clinical indication.

Selected by your doctor after assessment, as one part of a personalised plan.

01

What does it do?

The versatility of the platform allows different wavelengths and treatment approaches to be selected according to the clinical indication - from gentle rejuvenation to deeper resurfacing - with the settings chosen for each patient's skin.

Why we use it

Fotona gives me access to different laser wavelengths and treatment approaches, which means its role is not limited to one concern. I consider laser treatment only after assessing what is contributing to the patient’s concern — pigmentation, vascular change, texture, rejuvenation or another indication. The important part is choosing the appropriate wavelength, delivery and strategy for the individual skin rather than treating every patient with the same laser approach. Laser treatment should be precise, purposeful and indication-led.

Who is it suitable for?

Patients whose plan calls for laser treatment of texture, fine lines, sun damage, acne or scarring, and those who need more than one laser effect within the same plan. The intensity is matched to the skin type, which matters particularly for darker skin.

Is Fotona SP Dynamis Max right for you?

May be considered when

  • The plan calls for laser treatment of texture, pigment or scarring
  • More than one laser effect is needed within the same plan
  • The skin type requires settings chosen with care
  • Resurfacing is indicated and the recovery can be accommodated

May not be appropriate when

  • The skin is inflamed, infected or recently sun-exposed
  • Pigmentation is better settled with medical treatment first
  • The concern is laxity of the deeper supporting tissue
  • The downtime that a given setting requires cannot be planned for

This is decided at assessment, not in advance. Suitability depends on your anatomy, your skin and what you would like to change.

  • 04

    How long is a session?

From around twenty minutes for gentle treatments to about an hour for resurfacing, depending on the treatment chosen and the area.

  • 05

What is the downtime and recovery?

Depends on the treatment selected: none after gentle rejuvenation, and several days of redness and flaking after resurfacing. Your doctor will explain what to expect before treatment begins.

  • 06

    What should you expect?

Gentle treatments improve the skin gradually across a course; resurfacing produces a more visible change once the skin has recovered. The aim is healthier-looking skin, not a changed face.

Every patient is different. Your doctor will explain what to expect for your own treatment before it begins.

07

Combinations, and when it may not be chosen

It is often combined with medical skincare, peels or microneedling within skin-quality and scar plans. It may not be chosen where the skin is inflamed, where recent sun exposure raises the risk of pigmentation, or where another treatment would achieve the same result more gently.
